The purpose of the project

The purpose of the project is to measure the opinions of entrepreneurs regarding the evolution of the national economy and their attitudes towards the integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European Union. In view of the referendum on October 20, 2024 regarding the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union, this project aims to stimulate public debates on the topic of European integration. By providing concrete data and relevant analysis, the project aims to inform and encourage constructive discussions in society, thus contributing to a more informed decision of citizens in this historic election for the country.

Project description

Public Association Partnerships for the New Economy will conduct a representative survey to measure the opinions of entrepreneurs about the evolution of the national economy and the prospects of EU integration. In collaboration with partners CBS-AXA and INSCOP Research Romania, the association will explore not only attitudes towards European integration, but also perceptions of the performance of public authorities, the quality of public services and the evolution of the business environment. Opportunities for intensifying collaboration with Romania will also be researched and forecasts for the near future of the Moldovan economy will be collected.

An innovative aspect of the project is the realization of a similar survey in Romania, which will allow a valuable comparative analysis. This approach will provide a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities of European integration, seen through the eyes of entrepreneurs from both countries.

The results of this comprehensive study will be presented to the public on September 30, 2024 in Chisinau, again the full report will be available online. We hope that this information will fuel public discussions about Moldova's European future and mobilize the business community in support of active participation in the pro-EU referendum.

Through this project, Partnership for the New Economy reaffirms its commitment to the economic development of Moldova and supporting its European path. The association invites all interested actors to closely follow the results of this study and get involved in the crucial debates that will follow.
