Victor Ciobanu

Victor Ciobanu is a political and economic analyst, frequently invited to television stations and publication studios in Chișinău to comment on and explain current affairs. In collaboration with other colleagues, he launched two popular media projects: "Trigger" (2020) and "De Facto" (2018), which are shows analyzing current events in the socio-political life of the Republic of Moldova.

Since 2014, Victor Ciobanu has been a member of the jury that reviews the editions of the Public Opinion Barometer, a project of the AO Public Policy Institute that collects and analyzes data on social, political, and economic issues in Moldova through opinion surveys. He participates in numerous national and international projects aimed at democratic development, good governance, and European integration. He is also the co-author of economic research and studies on combating corruption and oligarchy.
