AO Partnerships for the New Economy from the Republic of Moldova, led by the former prime minister Natalia Gavrilița, and the Association Proiectul Romania 2030, represented by lawyer Ioana Mateș, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on supporting the efforts to integrate the Republic of Moldova into the European Union.

The two organizations aim to:
- to support the Chisinau authorities in preparing and complying with the EU accession criteria;
- to contribute to the intensification of cooperation between the two countries in the economic field, at the central and local level;
- to stimulate the collaboration of the Republic of Moldova with the European Union and other European and Euro-Atlantic institutions on issues of societal resilience;
- to carry out public diplomacy actions in the Republic of Moldova, in Brussels and in the EU member states;
- to promote cooperation in the field of education and research.
On this occasion, Ioana Mateș appreciated that the Memorandum of Understanding "lays the foundations of a structured partnership in order to promote the European integration of the Republic of Moldova".
"Together with civil society in the Republic of Moldova, we want to build a viable team of experts, so that we anchor ourselves, on both sides of the Prut, in the same democratic principles and support with all our strength the integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European Union ,"
said the leader of Romania 2030 Project.
For her part, Natalia Gavrilița welcomed the opening of accession negotiations between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union:
"In the next few years, we have a very responsible mission in the Republic of Moldova. We must make this path irreversible, and for this we must all work: the Government, civil society, and the private sector. I have always said that the road of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union both physically, intellectually and spiritually passes through Romania."
Natalia Gavrilița appreciated the efforts of Romania's former chief negotiator with the European Union, Vasile Pușcaș, in supporting the Moldovan cause:
"I discussed in detail with Mr. Pușcaș about Romania's experience and how we could take over this experience, how we could work together with the extensive network of the Romania 2030 Project Association, in order to achieve the desired result: the acceleration of economic growth and reforms and the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the Union European until 2030".
