Vadim Gumene

Vadim Gumene holds a degree in International Economic Relations and a master's degree in Financial and Banking Administration, both obtained from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. He also holds a diploma in Applied Economic Policies from the Joint Vienna Institute & IMF Institute (2011) and a diploma in International Trade Law and Policy from the WTO Training Institute in Rome (2009).

Between December 2015 and July 2021, Mr. Gumene worked as the director of the in-depth and comprehensive Trade Policies and Free Trade Zone program within the Expert-Group Independent Analytical Center. In September 2012 – December 2015, he held the position of head of the Trade Regimes and WTO Directorate within the Ministry of Economy.
